The NCR gathers information for its use, as associated with this web site, from users who voluntarily submit information either during the registration process or during the completion of transactions. AT NO TIME WILL THE NCR PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT ITS USERS TO THIRD PARTY ORGANIZATIONS WITHOUT THE USER'S CONSENT. Third party vendors, affiliates and advertisers may be gathering similar information when you navigate to their sites from ours. Our web reporting tool automatically collects some information about your connection when you visit pages on our server, including your IP address. We will prosecute all offenders who hack our database(s) and/or servers or any other equipment or files used to collect information, to the fullest extent of the law. By using this site, you agree to abide by the laws & practices of copyright law. All logos, pictures, graphics, and text are copyright of the NCR, unless otherwise noted. We will always give proper credit to an individual, company or association for the use of something of theirs to reference, and we ask that you do the same for us. Reproduction without the express written and signed consent of the NCR is strictly prohibited, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Regarding the National Corvette Museum: all logos, pictures, text, and any other item associated with the National Corvette Museum (NCM), including the Corvette Racing website and it's logo, and the pictures, logos, and text on the NCR Ambassador section of our site, are the sole property of the National Corvette Museum. Any use by the National Corvette Registry (NCR) is solely for the use of representing and advertising the National Corvette Museum (NCM), it's website @ www.corvettemuseum.com, and www.corvetteracing.com, and the National Corvette Museum Ambassador program. We here at the NCR hereby give all credit to the NCM where credit is due, and thank them for the use of their items. 3. The NCR Newsletter:

If you have signed up for the NCR newsletter, we will send it to you on a quarterly basis, around or near the 1st of the month, of the beginning of each quarter, with information and/or offers we think may be of interest to you. At any time you can opt out of receiving this newsletter, the online version or the print version, or other emails by sending us an email indicating which subscribed newsletters or emails you would like to no longer be a part of. The discontinuation of the newsletter does not, in any way, lower the price of the NCR membership dues. You, as a member or visitor to this site, hereby agree to these terms.

4. Third Party Advertisers & Affiliates:

The NCR uses some third party advertisers which supply product/service ads directly to our site, such as Google. These advertisers may collect similar data from users to help track the number of click-throughs for certain ads and the popularity of certain products. From time to time, the NCR may share aggregate information on users of this site with marketers of Corvette & auto-related products and services that we believe may be of interest to you. This information IS NOT personal in nature and only helps them to understand the usage of various areas of our site. When visiting third party web sites via links from the NCR web site, you will using their web site in accordance with their privacy statement, not that of the NCR web site. If you cannot find the privacy statement for the third party web site, you should contact them for more information, or immediately leave their site. Again, we expressly forbid the sharing of information on this site, and we will do all we can to protect your privacy and secure information by all means necessary. We will never give out your personal info, nor will we display your personal info (such as your address, phone number, email address, etc.) on the NCR site without your express written and signed consent. The NCR will prosecute any and all persons associated with the unauthorized collection of information from our website to the fullest extent of the law. 5. Photographs & Submissions for use by the NCR:

The NCR accepts photographs from our members of their Corvettes, or other Corvette related items. All members should contact the NCR before submitting the photographs or other materials. The NCR also takes photographs and collects information, such as interviews, at events around the country, just out driving the highway, or in any other scenario. The NCR does not pay any royalty fees, wages, or any other such fees for use of photographs, written materials, or anything else submitted by a member, unless there is a written and signed contract between the member and the NCR that is signed upon delivery of the item by the member, or upon pickup of the item by the NCR, which in these cases should always be at the same time. By the submission of your photographs or written materials to our websites, forums, or through emails, you hereby agree to the above stated terms in this section for the public viewing and release and use by the NCR unconditionally. We may ask for submissions occasionally, and unless there specifically states that there is payment that will be made for the submission, there will be no payment made for the submission, and you thereby, through the voluntary submission of your item, give the NCR unconditional & unrestricted use of the submitted item.

The NCR collected photographs and interviews are property of the NCR, and all submissions are the property of the NCR, unless stated otherwise in a written and signed contract, and as the property of the NCR, are protected by our copyright laws, and are not to be reproduced in any way, shape, or form, without the express written and signed consent of the NCR. We will prosecute all people, entities, owners, businesses, shareholders, etc. that reproduce the NCR property without the express written and signed consent of the NCR. No NCR employee or NCR associate or NCR submitter may give this permission for the reproduction of any NCR property. THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN GIVE THIS PERMISSION IS THE OWNER OF THE NCR. There is no exception to this rule. The owner can be reached at corvetteregistry@netscape.net. A meeting will then be scheduled after you get a response email, at which time of the meeting, the express written and signed permission will be given for a specific reproduction ONLY. Any other reproduction other than that which is given in the contract, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You, as a member or visitor to this site, hereby agree to these terms.

6. Cookies:

At this time the NCR do not uses cookies to track users. However, we reserve the right to make use of this practice in the future. Notification of such use will be outlined in this privacy statement. What is a Cookie? a small text file that is saved on your hard drive. They are commonly used to personalize the user experience at a particular web site. Cookies don't reveal personal information; the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. Cookies can't read unrelated data off your hard drive. 7. NCR Sweepstakes, Contests & Promotions:

In the future, the NCR may offer sweepstakes or other contests or promotions on the site. If you intend to enter these contests, you will be required to enter certain identifiable information so that we may contact you in the event of your winning of the contest, or if we deem necessary.  By entering these contests you agree to provide this information and understand that this information may be shared with any co-sponsor, that is properly and fully stated in the contest announcement, as outlined in the contest rules. As a contestant, you agree to give the NCR your information, as needed for the contest only, and if you are any of the winners or runner-up winners, you hereby agree to the use of your image, information, and interviews, as well as any other information that you submit, unconditionally, and without compensation, other than that which is stated, if any at all, in the contest rules. The NCR may occasionally co-sponsor a contest or promotion as well, such as a contest or event at the NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM. By submitting any information to us, or to them, the main sponsor of the event, you still agree to abide to the above rules, where the NCR is concerned. We cannot, nor do we make any claim to be, responsible for the main sponsor's actions, if we, the NCR, are a co-sponsor. Therefore, you agree to abide by their rules and regulations as well, as they are stated by the main sponsor. You, as a member or a visitor to this site, hereby agree to these terms.

8. NCR Visitor & Member Information Release:

We may occasionally release information about our visitors or members when a NCR release is appropriate to comply with all laws, to enforce our NCR User Agreement, or to protect the rights, property or safety of visitors to our web site, the public or the NCR. You, as a member or a visitor to this site, hereby agree to these terms.

9. Minors on the NCR site:

Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, email addresses, and phone numbers) over the Internet, to the NCR or to anyone else. The NCR will not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to provide us any personally identifying information. We will prosecute, to the fullest extent of the law, and with full co-operation to all law officials, any one who tries to manipulate our site to collect information from minors, or any member or visitor to our site who tries to use our site to collect information from minors. Any member of the NCR who collects information from a minor, will be dismissed from their membership without any refund of paid fees & banned from our site. The NCR does not tolerate the exploitation of minors in any way!! You, as a member or a visitor to this site, hereby agree to these terms.

10. Abuse (verbal or otherwise), manipulation, slander, intentional misrepresentation, or any other malicious acts:

Any abuse (verbal or otherwise), manipulation, intentional misrepresentation, or other malicious acts committed against the NCR will not be tolerated in any way!! We do not discriminate against any race, color, religion, ethnic background, gender, or age, and we do not tolerate those who will do so on our website. All acts of such content committed against the NCR, or any other person or entity, will be reported to the proper authorities if we have such knowledge about it, and all acts of malicious content, discrimination, or slander committed against the NCR will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 11. Links or click-throughs to other websites on the internet:

The NCR shall in no way be held responsible or liable for the actions, representation or opinions of another website that is not owned by the NCR. Though we may post a link to their site, or make a claim that suggests that you should visit their site, or that we, the NCR, are an affiliate of their site, we, the NCR, shall in no way endorse, condone, or otherwise have an opinion or represent the matter on the websites outside of our ownership. You, of your own free will, are responsible for the content viewed on other sites that are not owned by the NCR. We, the NCR, are not responsible for the content viewed by you, your family, your children, your friends, or any other such person or entity that may visit our site and leave via a link or advertisement.
